Firefighters were called to the house fire at 43 West Street South on Wednesday.

Officials say the occupants of the residence safely evacuated.

Police add it's believed the fire started on the northeast side of the house, but as it grew, it spread to an adjacent home.

Investigators are hoping the public can provide information or video footage from the start of the fire, and not when the structure was fully engulfed.

Police say the investigation is in its early stages, and no further information is available.
