Driver airlifted to Toronto hospital after head-on collision in Huntsville

A 66-year-old woman was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries after a head-on vehicle collision in Huntsville.

On Friday, May 6, just before 5:30 p.m., Huntsville OPP responded to a two-vehicle crash in the westbound lane of Highway 60 in the area of Harp Lake Road.

Highway 60 was closed in both directions as OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionists completed their investigation.

A 49-year-old male driver and his 45-year-old female passenger were also involved in the crash, and were transported to hospital.

Anyone with dash camera footage, or other information related to the incident, is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or the Huntsville Detachment at 705-789-5551.
