Huntsville OPP lay charges in stolen beer kegs investigation

Provincial police in Huntsville say a man has been charged in connection to a stolen beer kegs investigation.

OPP were contacted in the afternoon on March 14th "regarding a suspicious male party attempting to return stolen beer kegs to a local brewery," officials said in a release.

"Officers began an investigation and were able to identify the accused and several affected local businesses."

A 38-year-old from Huntsville was charged with:

  • Mischief - destroys or damages property
  • Break, Enter a place - commit indictable offence - Two counts
  • Theft Under $5000 - Three counts
  • Trafficking in Stolen Goods under $5,000 (incl. possession with intent to traffic) - Two Counts

He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
