Pedestrian rushed to hospital following crash in south Barrie
Police say he suffered serious injuries
The Barrie Police Service says a senior male has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in south Barrie.
Police were called to Hurst Drive near Little Avenue at about 2:15 p.m. with reports an older man was struck on the roadway. A police spokesperson confirms the pedestrian was taken to hospital with what are being described as serious injuries.
Hurst was closed from Little Ave. to Cox Mill Rd. as a result of the crash but has since reopened.
