OPP investigating after $50,000 in damage to Hydro One equipment in Georgian Bay Township

Southern Georgian Bay OPP are seeking help from the public after a mischief complaint Thursday of damage to Hydro One equipment in Georgian Bay Township.

According to OPP, firearms were discharged and resulted in roughly $50,000 worth of damage to power lines and transmission towers.

Police say it happened on the trail on the north side of Whites Fall Road, near Big Chute.
