Two people have been charged with drug and other offences after Nottawasaga OPP initiated a search warrant at a cannabis store in Alliston.

In early summer, police say they began an investigation after receiving information that Mohawk Medical 420 on Victoria Street West was allegedly selling and distributing products without a valid licence.

A search warrant was executed at the property on October 16. As a result, police say they seized a substantial quantity of illegal cannabis products and derivatives valued at $73,707.
