Images released in the hopes of identifying murder victim found near Keswick in the summer

Woman's body found in Lake Simcoe in August

Police are reaching out to the public for help indentifying a murder victim after a body was found in Lake Simcoe near Keswick.

York Regional Police were called to Lake Drive North shortly after noon on August 29 and located a body in the water. A post-mortem indicates the deceased is an adult woman somewhere in the age range of 28 to 50. She stood about 4’5″ to 5’1″ and was dressed for cold weather. Police believe the victim is of Asian descent. The woman’s identity has not been determined, nor has her cause of death.

Investigators have released some images of the woman’s clothing, jewellery, and an illustration of some unique nail art found on the deceased.
