Ontario Provincial Police credit a member of the community who contacted them after they saw a driver toss a liquor bottle out the window of a parked and running pickup truck in Midland.

Shortly after noon on Wednesday, police responded to the parking lot on Jones Road where they located the driver and spoke with him.

An investigation began and police say they charged the 66-year-old from Tiny Township with two impaired driving related offences.

The accused's licence has been suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days.
