Bracebridge OPP charge impaired driver after collision with construction equipment

Bracebridge OPP have charged a motorist with impaired driving after a collision with construction equipment Thursday evening in Gravenhurst.

At 6:50 p.m., officers got a report from a member of the public regarding a vehicle that had collided with construction equipment on Evans Avenue East before leaving the scene.

Officers found the vehicle nearby, subsequently charging a 69-year-old man from Gravenhurst with impaired driving, operation while prohibited, and failure to remain.

He will appear in court in Bracebridge on December 2.
