Police seek driver for information in Innisfil Beach Road cyclist investigation: SSP

The South Simcoe Police Service (SSP) is seeking the driver of a black truck in relation to an ongoing investigation.

"The driver may hold important details regarding the events leading up to an incident at 1231 Innisfil Beach Road, in Innisfil at 8:41 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, involving a cyclist," officers wrote in a release today.

"The vehicle is believed to be a black pickup truck which was seen travelling eastbound on Innisfil Beach Road on Saturday evening. Police wish to speak with the driver of the black vehicle who was in
the area at the time."

Officers are also appealing to anyone with information to contact Police Constable Jacob Field at 705-436-2414 or by email at jacob.field@southsimcoepolice.ca., or anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.crimestoppers.ca.
