As Ontario enters Step Two of reopening today, the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library is taking some extra time to ensure all branches are safe for customers and staff by preparing to reopen on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
Under Step Two, Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Cookstown, Lakeshore and Stroud branches will have limited capacity. A “Browse, Borrow and Go” model will be in place to allow customers to browse collections, pick up holds, and access printing and related services. Customers can also use computers for an express period of 30 minutes per person, per day.
Customers are asked to keep their visit to 15 minutes or less to help ensure everyone has a chance to access Library resources and services. Due to capacity limits, wait times may occur. Curbside service will remain available and the library encourages continued use of online services and digital materials. Be sure to follow Innisfil ideaLAB & Library on social media for live programming and events.
Branch hours will be the following:
- Lakeshore (Alcona) Branch: Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Cookstown Branch: Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Thursday from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Stroud Branch: Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Safety remains the top priority. Please refrain from visiting the library if you are feeling unwell. As a reminder, everyone will be asked to wear a face-covering while inside the building. Physical distancing and directional signage have been placed around the building with reminders to keep a minimum distance of 2 metres (6 feet) from staff and other customers. Enhanced cleaning protocols will continue for the safety of the public and staff.
The library thanks all customers and community members for their patience and support. For more information, please visit www.innisfilidealab.ca/browse-borrow-go.
