Innisfil man charged with Assault, Forcible Confinement

A 27-year-old Innisfil man has been charged with Assault and Forcible Confinement after a 29-year-old woman complained to South Simcoe Police of an attack last Friday at an Innisfil home.

The woman told police she had been assaulted and confined by an ex-boyfriend.

The accused turned himself in to police on Tuesday.

The victim did not require medical treatment for her physical injuries.
