Online threats lead to arrest of Innisfil man

South Simcoe Police has charged an Innisfil man following an investigation into online threats.  

Police recently began an investigation into threatening comments posted on YouTube. On Tuesday, June 7, police arrested a man at an Innisfil home.  

Officers say a 44-year-old is facing multiple charges including uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and firearm or weapon possession contrary to a prohibition order.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
