Stephe Lawson walked to RVH to raise funds for the hospital foundation
Stephe Lawson of Innisfil is thankful to be alive after contacting COVID nearly two years ago.
He’s still being treated for lingering effects of the virus, but went the extra mile Saturday to say thanks to the health care team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH).

He walked, with his family and supporters, from Barrie City Hall to RVH.
Lawson was greeted at RVH, by three of the medical staff who have been involved in his treatment.

Lawson has started a GoFundMe page to raise funds for the RVH Foundation. Between GoFundMe and donations collected during his walk, he’s raised just under $3,000 so far.
