An Innisfil man says he's still in shock after discovering he won the $25 million Lotto Max jackpot in the Friday, July 24, 2026 draw.
Stanley J. checked his ticket using the OLG app after purchasing it while visiting his girlfriend in Woodstock.
At first, he thought he had won $25,000.
"I soon realized I won much more, but I was in shock," Stanley said during a special winner celebration at Gateway Casino in Innisfil.

He asked his girlfriend to check the ticket for him, and she initially thought he was joking, according to a media release from OLG. That changed when she saw the $25 million prize amount.
The winning numbers were generated through a Quick Pick ticket Stanley bought a few years ago. He says he has continued to play those same numbers ever since.
"I guess that was a good decision."
Stanley worked as a plumber for about 40 years. He says he initially wanted to quietly tell a few family members and friends about the win, but word spread quickly.
He says it still hasn't completely sunk in.
"It won't feel real until I see the balance in my bank account, and it'll take some time to sink in."
His reaction?
"Wow! I am a friggin' millionaire!"
Stanley says he plans to buy a new house on the lake and share his winnings with his immediate family.
"I want to spoil my granddaughter and daughter," he said. "This win brings me a sense of comfort."
He also plans to travel with his girlfriend, saying he wants to show her some of his favourite places.
"I love the sun, sand, and beaches."
Stanley is also a fan of classic cars and trucks and has started looking for his dream classic hot rod.
