Firefighters responded to a blaze at a shop behind a home in Innisfil early this afternoon.

Brent Thomas, chief of Innisfil Fire and Rescue Services, says they were dispatched to 1643 Innisfil Beach Road, west of 20th Sideroad, near Alcona.

"On arrival, fully involved structure fire in a non-hydrant area," Thomas wrote in an email to Barrie 360.

"No injuries," Thomas added. "Total of 5 tankers 3 pumps and 1 aerial on scene."

Innisfil Beach Road has been closed through the area.

He says the shop is partially collapsed - with the damage total, including the building and contents, estimated to be $750,000.

The blaze is not suspicious, according to Thomas.

The fire was put out around 3 p.m.
