Release - Town of Innisfil
Members of the Town of Innisfil Council, along with representatives from the Troy Scott Community Fridges and the Innisfil Food Bank gathered to celebrate the results from the 9th annual 'Scrooge the Ticket' campaign.
From November 13 to 27, anyone who received an Innisfil parking ticket had the option to donate money, children’s toys, gift cards, or non-perishable food items to charity instead of paying their fine.
As a result of this campaign, the Troy Scott Community Fridges received $1,925 with the same amount going to the Innisfil Food Bank as well as $140 worth of toys.
