It’s Your ‘Duty’ To Not Drive Or Ride Impaired
Canadian music legend helps spread the word
Not enough snow to get the sled out just yet, but Southern Georgian Bay OPP and the North Simcoe Safe and Sober Awareness Committee are getting a head start on their snowmobile safety initiative with a little help from an old friend. Canadian rock icon Kim Mitchell has lent his voice to another public service announcement in hopes of keeping everyone safe.
The North Simcoe Safe and Sober Awareness Committee has been making drivers aware of the dangers and consequences of impaired driving for over 20 years. It is comprised of members from the OPP, Ministry of Transportation, Anishinabek Police Service, Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit, Canadian Forces Base Borden and concerned local businesses and professionals.
