A Rock N' Roll show in the afternoon.
The OG Scream Queen, Jamie Lee Curtis, is calling for rock shows to start offering matinee shows, and I don't hate the idea.
While on the "Today Show," she mentioned how she'd love to see Coldplay at 1 pm.
Her 7 pm lights-out routine makes it impossible to see the bands she would love to see. She is already in her jammies, fast asleep by the time most concerts start.
She is now challenging musicians to give it a shot, saying, "I think if we filled a stadium with people who want to see a matinee of Coldplay, we would start a trend."
Granted, catching a concert just after brunch doesn't sound super "Rock n Roll," but it's not a bad idea.
Movies and live theatres have early shows, so how about a rock show every once in a while, for the crowd who can't keep their eyes open past 9, or need to get home early to get their kid to bed?
