Striking Hollywood writers are getting some sweet support from celebrities, including Jay Leno, who dropped off a selection of confections.

Leno brought donuts to picketing writers who walked off the job this week.

It's a tradition for the comedian to bring donuts, as he did the same thing during the writers' strike in 2007.

He wasn't the only celebrity to support the Writers Guild of America, as several other stars, including Natasha Leonne, Kate Comers, Brett Goldstein, Wanda Sykes, Gillian Jacobs, and Rob Lowe, showed up.

More people will be heading to the lines to show support as the strike continues.

Union members put down the pens on May 2nd after several weeks of negotiations with Television Producers, and the Alliance of Motion Pictures failed to reach an agreement.
