Barrie's annual Kempenfest, The Barrie Automotive Flea Market, and Boots and Hearts Music Festival have been named to the exclusive Ontario Top 100 list published by Festivals and Events Ontario.
The announcement came at the organization's annual conference this week in Niagara Falls.
Kempenfest's Marketing Committee Chair, Ashlea Growcott, was there to accept the award. "We are truly honoured to be named to such an exclusive list of festivals and events," said Growcott. "To be recognized by our peers in the industry for our hard work in producing such a large event is both humbling and motivating for us to improve the festival even more."
This year's event takes place August 4 to 7 featuring Finger Eleven, and Tom Cochrane among the entertainment headliners
