The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a break-and-enter in Everett, Adjala-Tosorontio Township.

Police are investigating the break-and-enter that occurred sometime between Saturday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 10, 2023, where several landscaping tools and pieces of equipment were stolen from a locked shed on a residential property on Margaret Avenue, in Everett.

The approximate value of the stolen property is $15,000. The stolen items include a 2016 John Deere X320 complete with lawn vacuum attachment, John Deere 7P utility trailer, John Deere lawn roller, John Deere 54" lawn sweeper, Champion 25 ton log splitter, Honda 2" water pump, Cub Cadet 24" snow blower, 7x12 landscape trailer with two 3.5-ton axles.

A freestanding chimenea fireplace, extension ladder, and two 5-gallon diesel cans full of gasoline were also taken.
