They don't call it "The City of Love " for nothing.
Sex is back on the table for athletes of the 2024 Olympics this summer in Paris, France, after being banned during the Tokyo Games in 2021.
Celebrating the ban, the Olympic Village will have 300,000 condoms for the 14,250 athletes staying in the quarters.
Intimacy was banned during the Tokyo games due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Sort of.
One hundred fifty thousand condoms were handed then, but athletes were still encouraged to limit physical contact with each other, including hanky panky.
Handing out prophylactics is an Olympic tradition going back to 1988.
According to CBS Sports, organizers during the Games in Seoul, South Korea, handed them out to spread awareness of HIV and AIDS.
The 2024 Olympics begin July 26.
