Local MPPs holding town hall to discuss government efforts to combat COVID-19

Have questions, get answers

Local MPPs Doug Downey, Andrea Khanjin, Jill Dunlop and Caroline Mulroney will be holding a virtual town hall meeting Friday afternoon to help residents understand how the various levels of government are working together to beat back the virus.

The Barrie Chamber of Commerce, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit and municipal bylaw offices are involved in this as well.

Among other things, the town hall meeting will provide clarity on roles and responsibilities of the provincial government, local public health units, and municipal bylaw enforcement. It will also help residents understand how to best solve issues when they arise, and to assist residents in navigating the regulations that affect their businesses and daily lives.

It’s a zoom meeting, between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

It’s free, but you’ll need to register here to participate.
