The expected dogfight is taking place in Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte with Liberal Jeff Lehman hold a less than a 100 vote leader over PC incumbent Doug Downey.
Downey's PC colleagues have had a much easier Thursday night.
Incumbent Jill Dunlop won in Simcoe-North, Incumbent Andrea Khanjin cruised to victory in Barrie-Innisfil, Caroline Mulroney was returned in York-Simcoe, and newcomer Brian Saunderson, who was mayor of Collingwood, held on to Simcoe-Grey for the PC's.
The race is still too tight to call in Parry Sound-Muskoka where Graydon Smith for the Progressive Conservatives leads Matt Richter of the Green Party by just a few hundred votes.
