Provincial police alerted on Dec. 15 from an individual who told officers they were being harassed by a man on Manitoba Street in Bracebridge.

An investigation was launched, and OPP say they have charged a 33-year-old from Bracebridge with luring a person under 18 years of age.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and was to appear in court on Dec. 29.

"A publication ban was issued in order to protect the identity of the victim," police said in a news release on Friday. "As a result, the name of the accused will not be released and further information will not be released."
