Making Change Across Simcoe County is putting out the call to black-owned businesses across our region. The not-for-profit organization was founded in 2019 by Michele Newton and Shelly Skinner to “spark broad community interest and foster conversations around inclusion and diversity.”
Making Change is compiling a list of black-owned businesses across Simcoe County and has put the call out to the community. If you are a black business owner, or you know someone who should be on this list, they are asking you to visit their website and add your business to their list.
Supporting Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC)-owned businesses is just one way you can activate and practice anti-racism beyond social media. You can find the full black-owned business listing here.
