Man charged in rash of break-ins in Bradford

Police in Durham, York and Halton also have laid charges against the suspect

South Simcoe Police tag-teamed with other police jurisdictions to crack at least six break-and-enters dating back to last year in Bradford.

On Thursday, officers from South Simcoe, York and Durham executed search warrants at a residence in Vaughan and three vehicles. A man was arrested and a number of stolen items were recovered.

The 40-year-old suspect from Vaughan has been charged with:

  • break and enter to a house - x6
  • mischief under $5,000 x5
  • theft under $5,000 x5
  • theft over $5,000

The suspect was also charged with numerous other similar offences by police in York, Durham and Halton.

The investigation is ongoing.
