Charges have been laid in connection with a deadly crash west of Barrie on Feburary 20, 2021 that happened on County Road 90 at George Johnston Road.
A pickup truck and a passenger vehicle collided. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition and later died of their injuries. Two passengers from the vehicle suffered serious injuries.
A 57-year-old man from New Lowell has been charged with :
- one count of Careless Driving Causing Death
- two counts of Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on September 27, 2022
