
A person who fled from an ambulance outside the hospital in Huntsville is now at the centre of an investigation by Ontario's police watchdog.
OPP say officers responded to a call on Gun Club Road Sunday morning and arrested one person, who was taken to the detachment in Huntsville.
Police say the individual later requested medical attention and was transported to the hospital by paramedics, but fled on foot when they got there and ran into the woods.

OPP officers, the Emergency Response Team and the Canine Unit began a search and the person was later found and arrested.
Police say the person required medical attention after being located and was taken to the hospital for assessment of their injuries.
The province's Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate, and police say no further information will be released at this time.
