Man Pleads Guilty in Connection to Fentanyl Death
Second Suspect To Answer to Manslaughter Charge in Court
A potential precedent today, after a man pleaded guilty in connection to a fentanyl overdose death.
The 25-year-old man entered the guilty plea in Barrie court this morning, to a charge of Criminal Negligence Causing Death, and of Trafficking.
A 23-year-old man was found dead in April, investigators claim he died using drugs sold to him by two men.
Another suspect, a 55-year-old, will answer to a manslaughter charge.
