Man shot through door of his Newmarket home

Injuries are not life-threatening

York Regional Police are investigating a shooting just before 11 o’clock Wednesday night.

A 42-year-old man was wounded by a shot fired through the front door of his Charlotte Street home. The suspect then fled.

The victim’s injuries are non-life threatening.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward, including anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time whose car is equipped with a dashcam.
