Manslaughter charge laid following infant’s death in Wasaga Beach
Mother of 11-month-old child also facing drug possession charge
A woman has been charged in connection to the death of her 11-month-old boy.
Huronia West OPP began an investigation into the death of an infant on April 17, under the direction of the Criminal Investigations Branch.
A 39-year-old woman of no fixed address, said to be the child’s mother, faces charges including manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, failing to provide the necessities of life, and fentanyl possession.
