More than $45,000 raised in Barrie and Orillia on McHappy Day
It was a McHappy Day!

The tally is in.

Your purchases at McDonald's on McHappy Day in Barrie (May 11) raised $42,000 dollars, with another $13,424 raised at McDonald's in Orillia.

The money raised in Barrie will be split between Ronald McDonald House Toronto and RVH's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Orillia funds will help to purchase syringe pumps and vital signs monitors for the Paediatric Unit at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (OSMH).

Across the country, more than $5.7 million dollars were raised for children's charities.
