Southern Georgian Bay OPP say a worker at an Ultramar Gas Station on County Road 93 reported the incident on Monday just before 3 a.m.
"An unknown male entered the store and threatened the lone clerk with a weapon hidden under his coat," David Hobson, OPP media officer, said in a release. "The suspect fled the scene on foot with cash from the cash register along with some packages of cigarettes."
The suspect is described as a male wearing a black and gray plaid jacket, a red toque with white accents, fingerless gloves, and a red scruffy beard.
