Midland pair facing trafficking charges after Friday raid by OPP

Police say two unauthorized firearms were also seized

A Midland street crime unit investigation had officers knocking on a Sixth Street door on Friday.

Officers went knocking on the home with a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation, and say some cocaine and oxycodone was seized from within. Police also claim to have found a 12 gauge shotgun and a loaded .22 semi-automatic rifle. According to police, $32,610 in Canadian currency was also seized.

Two Midland residents, aged 28 and 33, are facing charges including trafficking, possession of stolen property, and unauthorized firearm possession.
