Midland traffic stop results in drug charges against pair after police seize coke, meth, fentanyl

Police also lay impaired driving charge in Orillia

Two people are up on drug-related charges after police pulled a vehicle over in Midland.

The OPP’s community street crimes unit was the one to pull the vehicle over on Bayshore Drive Wednesday afternoon and say some cocaine, meth, and fentanyl was located within.

A 44-year-old Midland woman and a 40-year-old man from Penetanguishene are facing drug possession charges and will be in Midland court in the Fall.

Meanwhile, OPP in Orillia pulled a vehicle over Wednesday evening over a traffic violation on Crawford Street. After speaking with the driver, officers laid an impaired driving charge on a 48-year-old man.
