There's just something about Natalie Portman.
Now that the smart, beautiful and talented actress and activist is single, millionaire men are chomping at the bit to date her, according to one matchmaker.
Portman recently split from her husband of twelve years, Benjamin Millepied, with whom she has two children.
Amy Van Doran, a New York-based millionaire matchmaker, love coach, and CEO of The Modern Love Club, says she's received nearly 40 requests from men begging her to set them up with the actress.
So what is it about Natalie that makes men swoon?
It could be her brain, confidence, success and general sweetness.
The fact she can swing a lightsaber?
Or, maybe the thought of dating the real version of their "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" from Garden State is too appealing.
Who didn't love her in this movie?
However, Van Doran doesn't have a direct line to Portman, so these men are out of luck.
In an interview with The New York Post, Van Doran explained that Portman isn't what her clients typically look for in a partner, saying "they'd typically find someone like Natalie to be too busy for them to date."
"The men requesting Natalie tend to be searching for women 15 years younger and with no kids, and typically less professionally ambitious. For Natalie, they are willing to overlook their typical criteria." she explained.
Gee, thanks, fellas, but I think the Oscar winner will be fine on her own for a while.
