The teaser trailer for the highly anticipated video game film "A Minecraft Movie" has been released.

If you've had a kid in your house at any point in the last fifteen years, you are familiar with the gaming phenomenon, which is said to be the bestselling video game in history.

You can almost hear fans geeking out as they see the piglins and creepers emerge on the screen.

The film stars Jack Black as a builder, "Steve," who explains, "Anything you can dream about here, you can make."

The film also stars Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen and Jennifer Coolidge. 

Since 2011, "Minecraft" has given gamers unlimited potential to create anything they want in a fantasy 3-D world, using colourful blocks and a ton of imagination.

"A Minecraft Movie," hits theaters on April 4, 2025.
