Release from Nottawasaga OPP

The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating several acts of mischief in Thornton, Essa Township.

Members of the Nottawasaga OPP are investigating of several acts of mischief which occurred during the overnight hours of Saturday, June 10, 2023 to the morning of June 11, 2023 in Thornton. Officers received information of four suspects damaging property and banging on doors in the area of the Cunningham Drive Subdivision, Medowland Blvd, Mc Keown St, Stewart Cres, Barrie Street and the Brykam Road Subdivision. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the involved parties.

The suspects are described as a group of four Caucasian males, some of which not wearing shirts, and appeared to be roughly 18 years of age.

Nottawasaga OPP is requesting that anyone living in this area that have video doorbell cameras or home exterior surveillance review it to see if anyone matches the description. If so, please contact Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
