More recoveries than new cases announced by Public Health Ontario Monday

Numbers continue to trend in the right direction

Some more movement in the right direction, with Ontario’s health body announcing fewer new cases than recoveries as the province’s curve continues to flatten.

Public Health Ontario has confirmed 308 new cases of COVID-19 province-wide, compared to another 359 recoveries. This means, out of the total caseload of 20,546, over 15,000 people have recovered, or 73.6 percent of all cases.

However, Public Health Ontario reports another 35 lives were lost since its Sunday update, with the virus claiming 1,669 lives across the province to date.
