Saturday, August 13th, 2022:
Join us for the Mosaic Nights Festival and the celebration of 3 international films, embedded in 3 different cultural extravaganzas. This year's festival features the culture of Iran, South East Asia and other multicultural communities. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and your whole family to this colourful Persian Festival in Meridian Place from 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Enjoy food, music and dance from Iran. At dusk, take in an outdoor movie, “The Nights Train” is a heartwarming movie about a teacher and her students who spin a tale together about a little girl who has lost her mother and gives her heart to a beloved teacher. Farsi with English subtitles.
Urban Sketching in Meridian Place - Capture the beauty of Downtown Barrie at Urban Sketching with Spare Room Barrie. This week is hosted by Katie Green. Drop by Meridian Place between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. All materials provided. All ages and abilities are welcome.

West End Family Fun - Located across from the Pratt Homes Theatre enjoy free face painting and access to fun interactive games and inflatables. Join us from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm for lots of family fun in the West end!!!
West End Art with Art With Purpose - Create a whimsical mixed media art piece with Art with Purpose, using drawings inspired by nature and assembled together to make a 3D scene. Find Jenn set up on Dunlop West, near Mexhico Restaurant, from 12:00 pm till 4:00 pm. All materials provided. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Be sure to be on the lookout for stilt walkers and jugglers roaming Dunlop Street for your amusement.
