Motorcycle collision in Wasaga Beach claims rider's life: OPP

Provincial police say a motorcycle collision on Friday night in Wasaga Beach resulted in the death of the bike's rider.

Huronia West OPP and other first responders responded to a report of a single-motorcycle crash on Beachwood Road at 7:37 p.m..

As a result of the collision, the rider, a 40-year-old resident of Wasaga Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say members of the OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) unit attended the scene to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing.

No other details about the crash or the rider were provided by the OPP.
