One person airlifted to trauma centre after crash involving motorcycle on Horseshoe Valley Road

A motorcyclist suffered "life-altering injuries" and was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre after a crash on Horseshoe Valley Road, Orillia OPP say.

Police are investigating the two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday around 5:30 p.m. at the Highway 400 interchange.

According to OPP, a westbound vehicle collided with an eastbound motorcycle. 

OPP Central Region Traffic Reconstructionists attended the scene and continue to assist with the investigation.
