A motorcyclist is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Midland.

Just before 4:30 p.m., police and paramedics responded to a crash on William Street.

"The lone 37-year-old male occupant of Midland was triaged at the scene and transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased by attending physicians," Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release.

"Investigators look into all factors that could have caused the crash including speed, helmet use, and the condition of the rider and motorcycle leading up to and including the time of the crash," added police.

Anyone who may have dashcam video or an area resident with surveillance video of the crash or saw the motorcycle leading up to the time of the crash is asked to contact the OPP at 1-800-310-1122.
