Motorist killed in fiery crash in Bracebridge: police

A 41-year-old Port Sydney man was killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash in Bracebridge.

Just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, Ontario Provincial Police say a vehicle travelling eastbound on Stephenson Road 1 East struck a tree and the vehicle became engulfed in flames.

The driver was the lone occupant in the vehicle.

A section of Stephenson Road 1 East was closed for 15 hours for the police investigation.
