Two men from Maple, ages 20 and 30, face multiple firearm charges after South Simcoe Police pulled over a vehicle for speeding in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

On Sept. 26, around 10 p.m., police say a vehicle was recorded travelling 150 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.

A traffic stop was initiated, and the officer spoke with the driver and a front-seat passenger. The officer detected a strong odour of cannabis. With the assistance of other officers, the vehicle was searched, and police allege a handgun and a loaded magazine in a satchel were seized.
