Three vehicles tangle in Muskoka, motorist charged with impaired

A long list of charges for a 30-year-old Welland man after a three-vehicle collision in Muskoka Lakes Township.

Provincial police say they responded to a collision Monday afternoon on Muskoka Road 118 near Beaumaris Road. One motorist, according to police, was reported to have been driving unsafely and struck another vehicle, causing a secondary collision.

There were no injuries.

Police say the charges include impaired driving by drug, dangerous operation, operation while prohibited, failing to comply with an undertaking, driving while suspended, a Class G1 licence holder unaccompanied by a qualified driver, and a novice driver with the presence of drugs.

The accused is to appear in court next month.
