New community alert system Notify Innisfil, promising to connect residents by phone, email, or text
Residents can sign up for free to receive alerts about COVID, road closures, severe weather, and more
Want to be more in-the-know about what’s happening around Innisfil? The Town has introduced a new service to help you do just that.
It’s called Notify Innisfil; a new community notification system that provides important information to residents who sign up. The free service can provide municipal alerts over text, email, or telephone. Visit the Town of Innisfil’s website to sign up for these alerts which could include information on COVID-19 restrictions, natural disasters like severe snowstorms, road closures, major service disruptions, fire or water restrictions, and even beach water advisories.
“The need for timely communication has always been critical, but even more so during the current pandemic,” said Mayor Lynn Dollin. “This new alert system helps us send instant town-wide or targeted updates that will keep residents up-to-date with what’s happening in their community. We’re excited to offer this technology as one more way to connect with residents.”
