New Wasaga Beach CAO Already Knows His Way Around
George Vandeboncoeur Back Following Brief Retirement
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss… literally!
George Vadeboncoeur has emerged from retirement only a few short months after calling it quits, and is back as Wasaga Beach CAO. Vadeboncoeur retired in August of this year, after 13 years at the job, but is back in his old office just in time for a brand new administration.
“We are pleased to have George once again be a part of our team,” Mayor Nina Bifolchi said. “George is an experienced public servant that understands the needs of our municipality and community. He will provide important leadership at the staff level, as well as support to the newly elected council.”
Meanwhile New Tecumseth CAO Blaine Parkin is moving to Barrie City Hall to head up the Infrastructure and Growth Management office.
